Fanart for Dota 2! I adore Death Prophet, she kicks ass ( Obvviously!) I wanted to draw her for some time but I couldn't think of how to do it, so I wanted something a little sad rather than crazy lady!
Every time I user her ultimate I sing "all my single ladies!" just cuz!
Credit to the character - Dota 2 and Valve ( And those previous owners, yo! )
Peace!
----- EDIT ---- I added some light and depth to the hair, after some criticism! What do you think now? O:
This is a very cool piece! I do not play that game though so I was not sure how exactly it should look so I looked up some photos. You have the face down perfectly I love that you drew her in a powerful manner with her hair blowing in the distance behind her and have it glowing. I like the bats were a good idea to put in the background just maybe not so many next time in one spot and maybe more in spots with less. I like her outfit but I would have maybe covered her breast up a bit more. otherwise good job.
First, I'd like to say that this is a simple, yet lovely composition. I really like the art nouveau suggestion- being that it's a flat-ish composition encased in a bit of scroll and has a circular in the background. It's got a great darkness and moody aspect in both color and expression. Great placement on the bats and moon.
Vision- Nice color composition. This skin is gorgeous. She has a bit of a regal pose, which seems to suit her character (though I'm not familiar with it.)
Originality - Well, it is a fan art ^.^
Technique - Nicely done, I do wish there was more shading in the hair, but I think I know where you were going with it. There is a technique where the hair is a solid color, I've seen tha but I think with the subtle shading you've used throughout the rest of the work, it doesn't quite hold up in this picture. The moon and the shading on everything else is wonderful. I love your use of mid-tone to create mood. Mid tones are very hard ^.^
Impact - Again, it's a simple and lovely composition. The grays don't make a huge imapct, but her stance and facial expression do, in the eyes- and it's the lack of expression that makes the most impact.
You have no place to talk. Her art is better then you could even imagine. Just shut the hell up. Your so fucking immature, lighten up kid. Get a life, immature twat.
The highlight on the chin is a little awkward. Also, its very noticeable you used the same bats multiple times, one is translucent. Bats are not translucent. Even though its far away.. you cant see the moon through the bat (top left corner). Also, the ear looks pretty flat, add some deeper shadows. The neck area in the clothing can use a bit or work as well. There should be a slight hint of a top shadow on her skull necklace... Oh and one other thing, you used only one tone. The skin, even though its grayish teal.. should have reflections of some more purple and teal and should be a little more saturated in some areas. Here are some stars for you, ************* they are all mashed together.
