In short, I believe this piece was very well put together. The fading away/ melting is very interesting. It is almost like she is trying to either push her way into existence or stop herself from not existing. She is kind of like a dark Marilyn Monroe with the melted black fingernails and black hair.

I disagree that the background is wrong for this, but I wouldn't have the background show through the top of her head so much. I think with her white outlining and the cool color range of the background that the first thing I focus on is the head, hair and her arms. I do agree that there does seem to be an over darkened shadow where her right arm meets her body. The one thing I do not understand is the placement of that one star type object...just seems off to me.

Overall, very visually stunning and I could probably sit here for a long while discovering new things!
